Jeff Sturgeon

Jeff Sturgeon has been working in the customer service and client management field for over 15 years. Jeff began their career as a human resources and advancement manager at Asbury Theological Seminary. In this role, they were responsible for managing the employment recruitment process and performing human resource generalist duties. Jeff also contacted donors and potential donors to nurture relationships with the school and request their financial support.

After a few years in human resources, Jeff transitioned to a role in ministry as an associate pastor and deacon at First UMC. In this role, they provided leadership for junior high youth, senior high youth, and adult faith formation and outreach ministries. Jeff also preached, provided pastoral care, served on worship planning team, and co-implemented a new ChMS.

After a few years in ministry, Jeff transitioned to the Lexington Leadership Foundation where they served as the program assistant. In this role, they assisted with the programmatic needs of the organization.

Most recently, Jeff has been working as an independent contractor for a small tech company. In this role, they provide customer service and client management support for the company.

Jeff Sturgeon completed a Bachelor of Science at Oakland University in Human Resource Development. Jeff then went on to complete a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology at Asbury Theological Seminary in World Mission & Evangelism (missional leadership).
