Sam Gerson

Sam Gerson, M.D., joined Boxer Capital, LLC in 2018. As Director, Dr. Gerson is responsible for is responsible for conducting due diligence of public and private investments in healthcare, with a focus on clinical-stage developmental therapies.

Dr. Gerson received his M.D. from Weill Cornell Medical College (2006) and completed an emergency medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital of Cornell and Columbia (2011). Dr. Gerson completed a fellowship in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine at University of California, San Diego (2012) and has worked in a diverse range of clinical settings in Florida and California since that time.
