Aaron Bedell

Aaron Bedell currently serves as Manager of Philanthropy for Boy Scouts of America and Scouting America, a role initiated in February 2024. Bedell has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, including positions as Chief Operating Officer at Permian Basin Area Foundation, where significant contributions to West Texas communities were achieved, and as Director of Development/CFO for Buffalo Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America, focusing on financial growth and community outreach. In addition to nonprofit leadership, Bedell operates as a professional photographer and consultant, specializing in outdoor and travel photography. Previous roles include Finance Director for Golden Gate Area Council, District Director, and District Executive for various Boy Scouts of America councils, along with educational experience as an instructor in Japan. Bedell holds a BS in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and International Business from Oklahoma State University and is an Executive MBA candidate at The University of Texas Permian Basin.
