Shay Johanson

Shay Johanson currently serves as Of Counsel at BoyarMiller, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and cross-border transactions, among other areas, since September 2018. As Co-Founder, Chairman of the Board, and CEO of Advanced Upstream Solutions, an oilfield services equipment manufacturing company, Shay has overseen the production of fluid ends for the hydraulic fracturing industry since 2014. Previous roles include Vice President-Legal and Vice President-Commercial at Keane Group from 2011 to 2014, General Counsel and Vice President of Business Development at Foxxe Energy Services, LLC from 2009 to 2010, and Partner at Franklin, Cardwell & Jones, P.C. from 2002 to 2009. Shay began legal career as an Associate Attorney at Boyer, Ewing & Harris, PC from 1998 to 2002. Educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from South Texas College of Law Houston and a degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
