Julien Fey has a diverse work experience in the field of technology transfer and research and development. Julien is currently serving as the Director of Technology Transfer at Boyce Thompson Institute, a position they have held since August 2019. Prior to this, they worked with NovaSterilis as the Director of R&D from August 2014 to July 2019.
Julien also has experience working at Agave BioSystems, where they started as a Scientist in June 2007 and was promoted to Senior Scientist in January 2010. Julien left the company in July 2014.
Before joining Agave BioSystems, Julien worked as a Research Associate at Cornell University from September 2005 to June 2007.
Additionally, they have worked as a Postdoc at OHSU from July 2002 to August 2005 and as a Postdoc at Boyce Thompson Institute from December 1999 to June 2002.
Julien started their career as a Graduate student at CNRS in 1996, where they remained until 1999.
Julien Fey obtained a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Strasbourg. Julien attended the university from 1990 to 1999 to complete their doctoral studies in this field.
