Magdalena Julkowska

Magdalena Julkowska is an accomplished academic serving as an Assistant Professor at the Boyce Thompson Institute since July 2020, specializing in plant physiology. Prior to this role, Magdalena held a position as a Postdoctoral Fellow at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology from February 2015 to July 2020, focusing on salinity tolerance in plants under the mentorship of Mark Tester. Magdalena completed a PhD in Plant Physiology at the University of Amsterdam from September 2010 to April 2015, where research involved exploring salinity stress-related mechanisms in Arabidopsis, guided by Dr. Christa Testerink. Education also includes a Master of Science in Plant Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, both obtained from the University of Amsterdam.
