Katie True-Awtry

Katie True-Awtry has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Katie is currently serving as the Vice President of Legal Affairs at Boyd Gaming. Prior to that, they worked at T-Mobile as the Director of Legal Affairs from 2020 to 2021. Katie also spent a significant amount of time at Sprint, where they held various roles, including Senior Counsel & Assistant Corporate Secretary and Counsel - Securities & Finance. During their time at Sprint, they provided strategic counsel on securities law compliance and financing transactions, supported corporate governance for the Board of Directors and Board Committees, and collaborated with treasury and finance teams on capital markets transactions and other financial matters. Before joining Sprint, Katie worked as an Associate at Stinson Morrison Hecker.

Katie True-Awtry attended the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. From 2004 to 2007, they studied at the University of Iowa College of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor degree.
