Katjarina Hurt

Katjarina Hurt is an experienced professional with a diverse background in social services, behavioral health, and educational training. Currently serving as a Social Service Training Specialist at the Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families, Katjarina focuses on instructional design and training delivery for the Early Learning Child Care Subsidy Program. As the Founder and Executive Director of Wilderness Chaplains, responsibilities include overseeing organizational operations, fundraising, and community outreach. Previous roles include Ski Patroller and Peer Support Specialist at Boyne Resorts, Behavioral Therapist at CRISSEY BEHAVIORAL CONSULTING, and Human Resource Consultant at the Washington State Department of Corrections. Katjarina holds a BA in Communications from Gonzaga University, a Master's degree in Theology and Ministry from Seattle University, and a Bachelor of Science in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from the University of Central Missouri.
