Mandy McLean is currently working as the Manager of Communications & Planning at BGC South Coast BC since January 2012. Prior to this role, Mandy held the position of Executive Assistant at the same company. Additionally, Mandy completed the Facilitation Certificate Program at Bakau Consulting Inc. in December 2021, which focused on skills and strategies for impactful facilitation. Mandy is currently pursuing a Certificate in Human Resources Management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, following their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Critical Studies in Sexuality from The University of British Columbia in 2009.

BGC South Coast BC serves 10,000 children, youth, and families annually through our four program streams: Clubs, Camp, Counselling, and Employment. Our eleven neighbourhood Clubs give kids a safe place that provides them with three things they need most: a sense of belonging, a sense of success, and positive relationships. Our Camp Potlach offers a summer wilderness camping adventure, which is second to none. Our Counselling programs provide substance use services and support to some of the most vulnerable youth in our community, as well as counselling and essential programs to families. Our Employment services provide coaching, job readiness training, and one-to-one support for youth.
