Founded in 1944, Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley (BGCSV) is a non-profit organization that offers innovative and effective after school and summer youth development programs for low income, high-risk Santa Clara County youth. BGCSV currently serves more than 3,000 youth, 6-18 years old, at 12 Clubhouse facilities in San Jose, Morgan Hill, and Gilroy. A chartered affiliate of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, BGCSV utilizes a proven youth development strategy that nurtures young people's self-esteem by instilling in them a sense of belonging, usefulness, competence, and influence.
