Jaime Barajas

Jaime Barajas, M. A., is an experienced educator and program manager with a focus on ethnic studies and college access. Currently serving as an Ethnic Studies Lecturer at Cañada College, Jaime teaches courses on race, gender, and borders. In addition, Jaime has held the position of Senior College Success Manager at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula since 2015, where responsibilities include developing curriculum, counseling students, and managing services for teens. Previous roles include lecturer positions at San Jose State University and Foothill College, as well as administrative roles at Stanford University and Aspire Public Schools, contributing to initiatives in student services, program coordination, and academic support. Jaime holds a Master of Arts in Mexican American Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Multicultural and Gender Studies.
