Genea Shoulders

Genea Shoulders, Ph.D., is an experienced educator and manager with a strong background in enhancing academic performance and operational efficiency. Currently serving as a Long-Term Guest Teacher at Kokua Education since February 2022, Genea utilizes innovative technologies to foster engaging learning environments for students and collaborates with staff to support student success. Previous roles include Center Director at Sylvan Learning, where financial and operational improvements were achieved, and Campus Manager at Beacon Hill Preparatory Institute, where early literacy programs were developed. Genea's experience also encompasses retail management, online course development, and team supervision, with a focus on compliance and organizational effectiveness. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University, an MA in Criminology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and a BS in Sociology from East Texas Baptist University.
