Kevin Carrico Mpa

Kevin Carrico, MPA has extensive work experience in various leadership roles.

From November 2020, they have been serving as the City Councilman for District 4 at the City of Jacksonville.

Prior to that, Kevin held the position of Vice President of Operations for Boys and Girls Clubs of America in Northeast Florida since January 2016. In this role, they oversaw operations for over 5,000 members across 25 locations in Duval and St. Johns counties.

Before joining Boys and Girls Clubs, they were the Vice President of Operations for Clara White Mission, a historic Community Development Center, from 2010 to 2016. In this role, Kevin managed various programs, including vocational training, feeding programs, housing for homeless veterans, and event management. Kevin also led real estate acquisition and development projects.

Earlier in their career, Kevin served as the Director of Food and Beverage for Marsh Creek Golf and Country Club and Dataw Island Club, where they improved operational efficiency, implemented training programs, and achieved financial goals.

Kevin Carrico, MPA, completed their education chronologically as follows:

From 1999 to 2001, Kevin attended Mandarin High School, where they obtained their high school diploma.

Following that, from 2001 to 2005, Kevin pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree at Florida State University. During this time, they focused their studies on Sociology, while also completing minors in Criminal Justice, Religion, and African American Studies.

Finally, from 2013 to 2015, Kevin enrolled at the University of North Florida, where they earned their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a specialization in Non-Profit Management.
