Tony Brickner

Tony Brickner has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tony started their career as a Sales Associate at Marshalls Convenience Stores, where they provided excellent customer service and worked across multiple departments. Tony then worked as a Silkscreen Printer at American Icon Screen Printing, assisting with printing production, quality control, inventory management, and product shipment. Tony then interned at Vincent Cianni Photography, where they transcribed audio, scanned/edited film, and catalogued artist prints.

Tony also gained experience as a Stylist Department Intern at Kate Ryan Inc., where they edited artist images, managed content for licensing, and oversaw front desk duties. Tony then worked as a Visual Merchandiser at 7 For All Mankind, collaborating with visual management to design displays and provide excellent customer service.

Tony'spassion for photography led him to work as a Gallery Assistant at Dia:Beacon, where they protected artwork, enforced museum policies, and assisted with visitor groups and special events. Tony also interned at Peter Demuth Photography, serving as a Visual Content Manager & Photo Assistant. In this role, they culled, retouched, and edited photos, curated content for social platforms, and assisted on location shoots.

Tony also has experience in the field of prosthetics. Tony worked at Össur as a Prosthetic Technician, fabricating, painting, and repairing custom silicone prostheses. Tony later advanced to the role of Senior Prosthetic Technician, where they optimized color matching and production processes and improved product output for the Living Skin and Naturals product lines.

In addition, Tony has experience in the field of arts education. Tony worked as a Visual/Design Arts Educator at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, crafting lesson plans and teaching classes in drawing, printmaking, and photography for K-12 students. Tony adapted programming for web-based content due to Covid-19.

Lastly, Tony has experience as an Aerial Yoga Instructor at The Body Art Barn, where they provided clear instructions to guide students safely through the aerial apparatus and performed routine maintenance to the studio space.

Tony Brickner received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Photography from SUNY New Paltz, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in User Experience (UX) Design. The certifications include "Design a User Experience for Social Good & Prepare for Jobs" from Coursera in March 2023, "Google UX Design Specialization" from Coursera in March 2023, "Create High-Fidelity Designs and Prototypes in Figma" from Coursera in February 2023, "Responsive Web Design in Adobe XD" from Coursera in February 2023, "Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes" from Coursera in January 2023, "Conduct UX Research and Test Early Concepts" from Coursera in January 2023, "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" from Coursera in December 2022, and "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" from Coursera in November 2022.
