Amber Plummer began their work experience in 2006 as a Teachers Aide for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Amber held this position until 2009 when they transitioned to a Teachers Aide role at the Irvine Unified School District. In 2010, Amber Plummer became the Director of Support Services and Education Programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast, a position they currently hold.

Amber Plummer attended California State University, Los Angeles from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences. Later on, they continued their education at the same university from 2006 to 2008, earning Preliminary Teaching Credentials with a focus on Single Subject.
