Jason Vasquez

Jason Vasquez has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Summer Camp Counselor and Baseball/Basketball Coach at Kutsher's Sports Academy in 2010 and 2011. Jason then transitioned to the role of Public Service Residential Community Peer Advisor at Central Michigan University Office of Residence Life from 2010 to 2012, where they managed a living-learning community and provided support to students.

In 2012, Jason joined Central Michigan University as a Mary Ellen Brandell Volunteer Center Graduate Student, where they oversaw office operations, supervised staff, and managed marketing and external communications for eight volunteer programs. Jason also developed and maintained partnerships with local non-profit organizations and wrote award applications and grants on behalf of the university.

After completing their graduate studies, Jason worked as a Sport Administration Intern at Mount Pleasant High School in 2013 and then joined LIFT, Inc. as an AmeriCorps Member Service Fellow from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, Jason joined the Chicago Cubs as a Ticket Associate for a brief period before transitioning to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago. Jason started as a Volunteer Coordinator in 2015 and progressed to roles such as Senior Volunteer Coordinator, Manager of Corporate & Volunteer Relations, Associate Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations, and currently serves as the Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations.

Jason Vasquez obtained their Bachelor of Applied Arts from Central Michigan University, majoring in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts and minoring in Sport Studies. Jason attended the university from 2008 to 2012. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science in Administration with a specialization in Sport Administration at Central Michigan University from 2012 to 2014.
