Mary Garrity

Mary Garrity has extensive work experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations, benefits, and special projects. Mary has held various roles at different organizations throughout their career. Most recently, they were the Human Resources Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester starting in August 2020. Prior to that, they worked at The Salvation Army as part of the human resources team from October 2018 to August 2020. Mary also served as the Human Resources Director at St. Mary's Center for Women and Children/Crossroads Family Center from December 2017 to June 2018. Additionally, Mary had a seasonal role as a Volunteer & Special Events Assistant at The Salvation Army in November and December 2017. Before transitioning to the non-profit sector, Mary worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance for a significant portion of their career. Mary'sroles at Liberty Mutual included Senior Employee Relations Consultant from 2014 to 2017, Special Project Manager from 2002 to 2014, Senior Benefits Consultant from 1997 to 2002, and Legal Counsel from 1990 to 1997.

Mary Garrity has a J.D. degree from Boston College Law School. Mary also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Spanish from Colby College.
