Boys & Girls Clubs of Durham and Orange Counties
OUR MISSION To inspire and enable all youth of Durham and Orange Counties, ages 6-18, particularly those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. FUNDING OUR LIFEWORK The Boys & Girls Clubs of Durham and Orange counties (BGCDOC) is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and protecting children while preserving the beauty and innocence of childhood. BGCDOC serves nearly 500 children every year through afterschool, athletic, and summer camp programming. The Club aims to make a fundamental difference in the lives of all youth by providing a safe alternative for youth between the ages of 6 and 18. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Durham and Orange Counties has been a steadfast champion in securing the prosperity of our children by offering life and educational lessons as the foundation for future triumphs. Charging no more than $10.00 a year, we provide a unique afterschool experience that helps students academically and in life. This important service is not achieved alone. Only through a collaborative effort with local businesses, area charities, philanthropic groups and generous residents has the Club formed a network of Champions for the most worthy cause of all; securing the futures of our children.
