Charles R. English

Charles R. English is the current President & CEO at BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF GREATER DALLAS INC. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operations Officer at Southern Dallas Development Corp from January 1989 to December 2003. In this role, they were responsible for providing a broad base of commercial business and real estate financing to small and medium size companies primarily operating in low/moderate income communities of Texas. Charles also provided consulting services to major cities throughout the U.S., developing creative public/private financing structures leading to the creation of over 4,000 jobs, primarily for individuals from low/moderate income communities.

Before their role at Southern Dallas Development Corp, English served as Vice President at MBank Dallas from January 1978 to December 1981.

Charles R. English has a MBA in Finance from The University of Dallas and a BS in Biology and Chemistry from the University of North Texas.
