Amy Schamber Ms, Limhp, Ncc

Amy Schamber, MS, LIMHP, NCC has a diverse and extensive work experience in the mental health field. Amy started their career at Boys Town National Research Hospital in 2016 as a Behavioral Health Technician. In this role, they gained hands-on experience in providing support and care to individuals with behavioral health needs.

In 2018, Amy joined PromiseShip as a Family Permanency Specialist, where they worked until September 2018. Here, they had the opportunity to assist families in achieving and maintaining a stable and nurturing environment.

During the same year, Amy also worked as a Mental Health Counselor Intern at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. As a Practicum Graduate Counselor, they played a vital role in supporting students in their mental health journey.

In 2019, Amy joined the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services as a Mental Health Practitioner. Amy provided counseling and therapy to incarcerated individuals until January 2021. Amy also worked as a Mental Health Counselor Intern with the same organization from September 2018 to May 2019.

Amy currently holds the position of Mental Health Therapist at Boys Town National Research Hospital, where they began their tenure in January 2021. In this role, they continue to utilize their expertise to provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals in need.

Amy Schamber earned their Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2017 to 2019.
