Chris Wittich, MBT, CPA is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in tax planning and preparation. Currently serving as a Partner at Boyum Barenscheer since February 2007, Chris specializes in helping clients optimize their tax strategies and assists expatriates with tax filing requirements. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Tax Manager, where responsibilities encompassed tax planning, research, and resolving IRS and state issues. Chris has dedicated over 20 years as a Volunteer Reviewer and Trainer for Prepare + Prosper, mentoring volunteers and assisting low-income taxpayers. An advocate for community service, Chris also founded and managed an independent tax clinic at the University of Minnesota for low-income individuals. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, both from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
