Alan Peterson is an experienced engineering professional with a strong focus on maintenance and reliability within the oil and gas industry. Since June 2013, Alan has served as the Maintenance & Reliability Engineering Superintendent at BP, leading the M&R Engineering Team for the Production Logistics Area, which encompasses tank farms and wastewater treatment facilities. Prior to this role, Alan was a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer, supporting the Crude and Coking Area Team as the unit mechanical engineer for a complex coking unit. Earlier career experiences include roles at Purdue University as a Resident Assistant, and at Duke Energy Corporation, where Alan completed extensive engineering co-op placements with significant contributions to power generation projects. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
