Dr. Simon Andres

Dr. Simon Andres is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and consulting, particularly in the hydrogen sector. Currently serving as a Business Development Analyst at bp since October 2023, Dr. Andres previously held roles as a Senior Consultant at both Accenture and umlaut company, where responsibilities included consulting on the hydrogen value chain, project leadership, and customer relationship management. Prior experience includes decarbonization consulting at evety and a research associate position at RWTH Aachen University, focusing on energy technology and innovative measurement technologies. Dr. Andres holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, complemented by a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
