Elizabeth Hatchett serves as Counsel for Mobility & Convenience Americas at bp since January 2024. Previously, Elizabeth held the position of Associate General Counsel at Thorntons LLC from August 2016 to December 2024. Elizabeth also worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Consumer Protection and Civil Litigation Divisions for the Office of the Kentucky Attorney General from July 2014 to August 2016. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in the Jefferson County Commonwealth's Attorney's office from May 2011 to July 2014 and as an Associate Attorney at Avery and Schurman, PLC in 2010. Additionally, Elizabeth has contributed as a part-time lecturer on Gender and Law at the University of Louisville in 2010. Educationally, Elizabeth earned a Juris Doctor from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, a Master of Arts in Women's and Gender Studies from the University of Louisville, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hollins University.
