Ellen Janssens

Ellen Janssens has extensive experience in financial management and analysis, primarily within the lubricants and shipping industries. Currently serving as the European Business Controller at BP since November 2012, Ellen manages the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow for the European Castrol Lubricants organization, focusing on variance analysis and forecasting. Previously, as the Benelux Business Controller, Ellen oversaw reporting and budgeting for the Castrol Automotive market. Ellen's early career includes roles as a Senior Data Analyst at OmniCare Consult and a Yield and Marketing Analyst at Safmarine, where responsibilities included data management and strategic market analysis. Ellen holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp and completed a Management Traineeship with Maersk International Shipping.
