Pawan Sabharwal

Pawan Sabharwal serves as the Global Head of Strategic Business Development at bp since January 2021, where responsibilities include identifying market opportunities and establishing new revenue streams. Prior to this, Pawan held several commercial leadership roles at Castrol from January 2013 to January 2021, including Vice President of South Asia, focusing on turning around the underperforming India business. Pawan's earlier career at BP plc spanned from October 2003 to December 2012, including roles such as Area Sales Director for North West Europe and Strategy and Business Development Manager for BP's Fuels Trading Business in Europe. Pawan holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a B Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, supplemented by completion of the BP Sales & Marketing Leadership Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
