Samir Valiyev is a Senior Completions and Interventions Engineer at bp, where they also serve as a Completions, Interventions, Integrity, and Subsea Engineer. Samir has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, having worked with Schlumberger, Weatherford, and the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a Slickline Field Engineer and Completion Engineer. In addition to their engineering roles, Samir is a dedicated educator, currently lecturing in Drilling and Completion Engineering at both Khazar University and Baku Higher Oil School. Samir holds a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Bircham University.
