Suzanna de Baca

President at BPC

Suzanna de Baca is the President of BPC, a position they have held since January 2018. Prior to that, they served as the President and CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Heartland from January 2014 to January 2018. In that role, they were responsible for the leadership and management of a multi-state affiliate of Planned Parenthood which offers a full range of quality reproductive health services, educational programming and advocacy work in Iowa and Nebraska.

During their time at Planned Parenthood of the Heartland, Suzanna oversaw a number of significant accomplishments, including the creation of a five year strategic plan, leading financial and operational improvements, reorganizing the affiliate after the loss of significant state level public funding in Iowa, and transforming the organizational culture. Suzanna also served as the Vice President of Affiliate Chief Executive Council (ACEC) and created a vision and plan for sustainability by orchestrating and executing a corporate consolidation with a neighboring affiliate to create a regional five state powerhouse.

Suzanna de Baca has an Executive Education Certificate Women on Corporate Boards from Harvard Business School, an Entrepreneurship Executive Education Certificate from Harvard Business School, an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Harvard Business School, and a BA in Art and Design from Iowa State University.
