Takanobu Hara

Mr. Hara joined BPEA in 2019 from Morgan Stanley in Tokyo. Mr. Hara brings wealth of experience in both investment banking and private equity in Japan which includes his tenure at Advent International and Ripplewood Japan. Mr. Hara began his career at the Industrial Bank of Japan (currently Mizuho Bank). In addition to his professional background, Mr. Hara has unique experience in public services having served as a Special Adviser for a Japanese municipal government in the area of culture and international relations.

Mr. Hara received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Keio University. He is a native Japanese speaker and is fluent in English.
