Emanuele Cristini

Emanuele Cristini currently serves as Chief Risk Officer and head of the Credit and Operational Risks Service at BPER Banca, a position held since September 2010. In this role, Emanuele oversees the development, updating, and monitoring of internal rating system models including PD, LGD, and EAD, while coordinating activities related to Basel II projects and the validation processes with the ECB. Responsibilities also include managing stress tests, IFRS9 frameworks, and contributions to the group's NPL plan. Prior to BPER Banca, Emanuele worked at UBI Banca in various risk management roles, focusing on internal rating models and problematic loan monitoring. Emanuele began a career in risk at Fineco Leasing, serving as Risk Manager after initial roles in administration and credit management. Emanuele holds a degree in Mathematics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and a diploma from a Scientific High School.
