Stefano Trazzi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Stefano started their career at Cooperbanca in 1999, where they worked in front and back-office roles involving cash handling, commercial portfolio management, and invoice financing. In 2001, they joined Banca Agricola Mantovana as a Front and Back Office employee, responsible for cashiering, commercial portfolio management, and selling financial products. Stefano then moved on to become a Project Management Specialist, focusing on organizational projects related to finance and payment systems.

In 2008, Stefano joined Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena as a Project Manager, involved in finance projects, collecting requirements, and designing and reviewing internal and business processes. Stefano later joined BPER Banca in 2012, holding several positions within the ICT department. These roles included the responsibilities of Finance and Consumer Systems Service Manager, Wealth and Welfare Applications Service Manager, and Head of Finance and Wealth Applications. In these positions, they managed IT services, budgets, and application lifecycles, as well as leading teams and coordinating suppliers.

Stefano Trazzi obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Ingegneria - Curriculum Matematica from Università degli Studi di Ferrara from 2003 to 2006.
