Vijay Modur

Vijay Modur currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at BPGbio Inc. since October 2023. Prior to this role, Vijay held the position of Head of Research and Development at Eloxx Pharmaceuticals from April 2021 to September 2023, and served as Chief Scientific and Medical Officer at Zikani Therapeutics for a brief period in 2020. Vijay has extensive experience from Sanofi Genzyme, where responsibilities included Global Project Head of Rare Disease Clinical Development and Translational Medicine Lead from August 2014 to July 2020. Additional roles include Chief Medical Officer at HTG Molecular Diagnostics (2012-2014) and Head of Diagnostic Discovery at Novartis Molecular Diagnostics (2010-2012). Vijay's earlier experience spans senior roles in oncology at Novartis Oncology and Merck Research Laboratories, alongside a foundation in medical training as a Resident at Washington University School of Medicine. Vijay holds a PhD in Experimental Pathology from the University of Utah School of Medicine and an MBBS from Karnatak University.
