CIO / Assistant Vice President – Technology at BPO Connect

Salitha Dissanayake has extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting with an internship in engineering at Suntel Ltd in 2002, Salitha later took up an internship at Sri Lanka Telecom in 2002-2003. Salitha then became the Head of the Network & Communications Division at Infocom Lanka from 2005 to 2007. Moving forward, Salitha worked as a Team Leader in Network Integration at Infocom & Sri Lanka Telecom from 2003 to 2005.

From 2008 to 2014, Salitha worked as the Manager of IT & Telecommunications at Bartleet Electronics, where they specialized in providing industry-standard computers, peripherals, and communication systems. In 2014, Salitha took up the role of CIO / Assistant Vice President - Technology at both BPO Connect and ITConnect, where they led the development of IT solutions and outsourcing services for these Australian companies.

Salitha Dissanayake obtained a postgraduate degree in Information Systems Management from the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Colombo from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2002, Salitha attended the University of Moratuwa, where the specific degree obtained is unknown, but the field of study was Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering. Salitha also completed GCE Advanced Level Maths in Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics at Applied Sciences from 1995 to 1997.

In addition to these educational achievements, Salitha obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the University of Southampton from 2010 to 2012, with a field of study listed as KISM.

Salitha Dissanayake also has earned the certification of Justice of the Peace - Whole Island from the Ministry of Justice Sri Lanka in July 2020.
