Mark de Groot

Mark de Groot has significant work experience in various roles and industries. Mark started their career as a Business Consultant at Atos KPMG Consulting in 2005. From 2006 to 2009, Mark worked as a Business Strategy & Transformation Consultant at PA Consulting Group, where they gained extensive experience in various areas such as business planning and design, process redesign, and IT management.

In 2009, Mark joined BPSOLUTIONS. MAKE DATA WORK as the Director of Sales & Marketing. Mark later became the Director of Operations (COO) and eventually the CEO. In these roles, Mark focused on leveraging data networks and utilizing data to drive innovation and success in an "always on" world.

In 2012, Mark also became a member of the IBM Global Business Partner Advisory Council, where they actively contributed to IBM's business partner initiatives through collaboration and idea exchange. Overall, Mark de Groot has a diverse background with a strong emphasis on business strategy, transformation, and leveraging data for success.

Mark de Groot attended Het Nieuwe Lyceum from 1991 to 1998, where they obtained their VWO degree. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Groningen from 1998 to 2004, where they earned their MSc in Industrial Engineering & Management Science. In addition to their formal education, Mark has obtained several certifications in various fields, including the Cloud Pak for Data Sales Foundation from IBM in October 2021, the Watson Foundations Sales Foundation from IBM in April 2020, the Rubrik Ransomware Recovery Expert from Rubrik, Inc. in July 2022, the Rubrik Ransomware Recovery Sales from Rubrik, Inc. in July 2022, and the RSP - Rubrik Sales Professional from Rubrik, Inc. in August 2021.
