Stefan Folkerts

Stefan Folkerts has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Stefan began their career in 1999 as a Systeembeheerder at Getronics, where they worked until 2000. Stefan then joined Robeco Nederland B.V. as a Systeembeheerder from 2000 to 2002. In 2002, they worked as an AIX system engineer at Robeco for two years. From 2003 to 2011, Stefan served as a Systems Engineer at IT Alignment Associates (ITAA) BV. Their responsibilities then expanded when they joined BPSolutions. Since 2011, they have taken on various roles, starting as a Senior Technical Consultant, where they worked on business continuity using Veeam, Zerto, and Spectrum Protect solutions, as well as SAP HANA consultancy. Stefan then transitioned to the role of Technical Account Manager from 2017 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of a Cloud Strategy & Design Architect at BPSolutions, which they commenced in March 2020.

Stefan Folkerts completed their education at TI Voorburg from 1995 to 1999, earning a degree in IT. Since then, they have obtained various certifications, including the Rubrik Ransomware Recovery Expert and Rubrik Ransomware Recovery Sales from Rubrik, Inc. in June 2022. Stefan also holds certifications in Rubrik Sales Professional (RSP), Rubrik Technical Associate (RTA), and Rubrik Technical Professional (RTP), obtained in 2021. Stefan's other certifications include Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020, and multiple certifications from IBM, such as IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Spectrum Protect V8.1.6 (January 2020), IBM Certified Specialist - IBM storage technical V2 and IBM Certified Specialist - Virtualized Storage V2 (both obtained in May 2019), IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Spectrum Protect V8.1 (May 2017), IBM Midrange Storage Technical Support V4 (July 2016), IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Tivoli Storage Manager V7.1, and IBM Certified Professional using the Certified for Cloud and Smarter Infrastructure (both obtained in December 2014). Additionally, they obtained the High-End Tape Solutions V6 (969) certification from IBM in October 2011. Stefan also holds certifications from Rubrik, such as RTA - Rubrik Technical Associate, RSP - Rubrik Sales Professional, RCIE - Rubrik Certified Implementation Engineer, and RTP - Rubrik Technical Professional. Stefan also holds a VMware Certified Professional VCP5 certification, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
