Bas Michielsen

Bas Michielsen has extensive experience in the automation and technology sectors, currently serving as the Country Managing Director for BeNeLux at B&R Industrial Automation since July 2015. Prior roles at B&R include Sales Manager for both the Netherlands and OEM sectors, as well as Sales Engineer. Prior to B&R, Michielsen worked as Business Development Manager at Connect Group N.V. and held a Sales Engineer position at TE Connectivity, specializing in the automotive sector. Michielsen began a career in sales engineering at Dracon-Eltron before pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering (Ing.) from Avans University of Applied Sciences, following completion of secondary education in Natural Sciences & Technology at Theresialyceum Tilburg.
