Davis Gentry

Davis Gentry is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in automation and motion control. Currently serving as a Technology Architect at B&R Industrial Automation since October 2018, Gentry previously held several engineering roles at Omron Automation - Americas from June 2012 to October 2018, including Advanced Motion Application Engineer, Motion Control Specialist, and Motion Solutions Engineer. Prior experience includes a Senior Applications Engineer position at Delta Tau Data Systems and an Automation Engineer role at Carpenter Company, among others. Gentry's educational background includes a Master's degree in Bioengineering and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Virginia Commonwealth University, as well as a certification in Russian Language from the Defense Language Institute. Gentry's early career also includes service as a Cryptologic Linguist in the United States Air Force and the Air Force Reserve.
