Harrie Timmermans

Harrie Timmermans is an accomplished professional with significant experience in municipal management and advisory roles. Currently serving as Gemeentesecretaris at Gemeente Heusden since July 2016, Harrie also holds the title of Coördinerend Gemeentesecretaris at Veiligheidsregio Brabant-Noord and has been recognized as Rijnlander van het jaar by Jaap Peters in June 2023. Additional roles include advisory positions on the Raad van Advies and Aanbeveling for Brabantsedag and as an independent board member for MidZuid. Harrie is also an author, co-writing "Zie mij, hoor mij!" alongside Leon Schaepkens and Stan van de Laar, focusing on regaining public trust in politics. Previous positions include Chairman of the Raad van Commissarissen at Vidar and conducting a study for the Gemeenteraad of Waalre as Informateur. Educational credentials include a degree in Nederlands Recht from Tilburg University and Atheneum from Van der Puttlyceum.
