M.D. Sadek Ferdous

Md. Sadek Ferdous, PhD, serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, since May 2021. Additionally, Ferdous is a Research Associate at the Centre for Financial Technology at Imperial College Business School. In a technical advisory capacity, Ferdous has been involved with HERMESNET LTD since August 2021 and has previously held positions such as ERCIM Alain Bensoussan Research Fellow at Fraunhofer FIT and Consultant for the International Fund for Agricultural Development. Prior academic appointments include Assistant Professor at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Southampton. Ferdous' educational background includes a BSc. Eng. in Computer Science and Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, as well as multiple master's degrees in Security and Mobile Computing from institutions including the University of Glasgow and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
