Effat Ara Parvin

Effat Ara Parvin is a seasoned professional in communication and grant management, currently serving as the Manager at BRAC since August 2024. Previously, Effat held the position of Coordinator for Young Bangla at the Center for Research and Information from October 2019 to October 2021. Effat's extensive experience at ActionAid spanned from May 2008 to September 2019, culminating in the role of Manager for Residential Child Care and Development, as well as serving as Deputy Manager for the Local Rights Program, overseeing program implementation aligned with ActionAid Bangladesh's strategic framework. Effat's career began as an Associate Program Officer and progressed to Program Officer within the same organization. Educationally, Effat holds a Master's of Education in Special Education and Teaching and a Bachelor of Education in the same field, both from the University of Dhaka, supplemented by a strong academic foundation from Rajuk Uttara Model College and Shaheed Anawar Girls' College.
