Mohammad Ali is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) and public health engineering across multiple humanitarian contexts. Currently serving as the Programme Head for WASH at BRAC since September 2025, Mohammad previously held significant roles at Oxfam, including Public Health Engineer and Team Leader for various humanitarian responses in regions affected by disasters such as Cyclone Idai and the Rohingya refugee crisis. Mohammad's expertise encompasses designing and implementing water supply and sanitation systems, promoting public health, and integrating emergency food security initiatives. Additionally, Mohammad has worked with organizations like UNICEF, IOM, and JICA, focusing on project management, technical supervision, and capacity building. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering and a Master’s in Public Health.
