Julia K. Wells

Julie Wells serves as Bracewell’s assistant general counsel for firm business and risk management. Her responsibilities include assisting with contract negotiations, employment matters and the firm’s risk management program. Julie also manages the firm’s compliance with governing regulations and rules of professional conduct across all of the jurisdictions in which Bracewell attorneys practice.

Prior to assuming her current position, Julie was a litigation associate representing energy industry clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters. She represented pipeline companies and operators in complex commercial disputes with joint venturers and other third parties. In addition, Julie defended against tort claims for premises liability, personal injury and wrongful death.
