Job Title: Sr Mobile Developer

Duration: Full-Time

Location: Offices located New York City, NY / Remote

Job Summary:

The Brag House is looking for a skilled mobile developer with full stack development experience to continue to scale the Brag House mobile app. You will be a part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full application development life cycle, focusing on development, testing, and deployment. You should be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries, as well as fundamental UI/UX concepts. The team will be utilizing Agile methodologies to track development tasks and maintain visibility for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to create and implement software solutions

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)

• Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to improve usability and user experience

• Utilize and write effective APIs (HTTP and REST API)

• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code

• Continuously expand and improve existing data models with backend development teams to meet business needs

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions

• Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols

• Write and maintain technical documentation, functional specifications and guides

• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as Front-End or Full Stack Developer

• Experience developing web-based applications

• Familiarity with common stacks

• Knowledge of various front-end languages, frameworks, and libraries (e.g. JavaScript, HTML/CSS, ReactJS, jQuery, GraphQL, Django)

• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure management and utilization

• Familiarity with back-end languages (e.g. Python), databases (e.g. MySQL, RDS, DynamoDB) and frameworks (e.g. Django)

• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, testing, and deployment)

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

• Great attention to detail

• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

Recommended Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field

• Experience with Git for project files, branch management and deployment processes

• Experience with Monday.com CRM is a plus
