Amanda Lowery, APR has a diverse range of work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Amanda started their career as a Programs Coordinator at the South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce in 1995, where they worked closely with volunteers to plan and execute programs, organized annual events, and created various promotional materials. In 1996, they became a Public Relations Assistant at Omniplex Science Museum, now known as Science Museum Oklahoma.

In 1998, Amanda joined Science Museum Oklahoma as the Director of Public Relations. In this role, they managed the museum's advertising and marketing budget, supervised a public relations assistant, and collaborated with the design and development teams. Amanda remained in this position until 2001.

After leaving Science Museum Oklahoma, Amanda joined Third Degree Advertising in 2001 as the Director of Public Relations. Here, they were responsible for developing integrated marketing communication plans and programs, media relations, and creative concepting direction. In 2006, they were promoted to Vice President, Strategic Communications, where they continued to oversee marketing communication efforts and handled crisis communications planning and response. In 2011, Amanda took on the role of Executive Vice President, where they managed the agency's revenue projections and handled various business management duties. Amanda left Third Degree Advertising in 2016.

From 2016 to 2018, Amanda worked at American Fidelity as a Marketing Communications Manager. In this role, they led a team of professionals and collaborated with a larger marketing department to execute marketing campaigns focused on employee supplemental benefits education, customer service support, and brand positioning.

In 2018, Amanda joined Braid Creative & Consulting as the Director of Client Strategy. Their responsibilities in this role include researching and developing brands, planning and executing integrated marketing communications campaigns, and working with clients to help grow their organizations.

Throughout their career, Amanda has demonstrated skills in leadership, team management, marketing strategy, media relations, crisis communications, and event planning. Their work experience showcases their ability to adapt to different industries and contribute to the growth and success of organizations.

Amanda Lowery, APR completed their Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations from the University of Oklahoma. Amanda pursued their education from 1991 to 1995.
