Pilar Alcalde

Pilar Alcalde is currently serving as Project Manager of Data Science at Brain Food since August 2022, where responsibilities include aligning technology with strategy to develop tailored, high-quality projects that enhance client value and address business challenges. Previously, Pilar Alcalde was an Assistant Professor at Universidad de los Andes from October 2012 to July 2022, focusing on industrial organization, labor economics, education economics, and randomized controlled trials, with an emphasis on theoretical modeling and advanced statistical methods. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, a Data Science and Machine Learning certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a certificate in Digital Strategies for Business from Columbia Business School, and both an M.A. and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
