Valerie Dinges is currently serving as an Activities Coordinator at Brain Injury Services. Prior to this role, Valerie worked as a Sales Associate at World Market, where Valerie was responsible for various customer service, merchandising, and stocking duties. Valerie also has experience as a Community Access Individual Program Life Skills Coach at Easter Seals of West Georgia and served in the US Army as a Military Intelligence Russian Linguist. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus.

Brain Injury Services
Brain Injury Services helps children and adults with a brain injury build the skills and confidence they need to lead a fulfilling and productive life. The organization was the first community-based brain injury case management program of its kind in Virginia. It was instrumental in providing guidance to other communities across the Commonwealth that now utilize this model program. In 2002, Brain Injury Services was awarded a Commonwealth Neurotrauma Initiative Grant to establish the first pediatric brain injury case management program. The organization now serves all of Northern Virginia, Fredericksburg, and surrounding Counties, including Culpeper and Fauquier. It added specialized programs over the years to include: day programs, supported living services, supported employment, volunteer programs, PALS, Speakers Bureau, therapeutic groups, Assistive Technology, "Money Follows the Person" coordination, and other services as needed.
