Emma Austin

Emma Austin serves as the Recreational Programme and Activities Coordinator at Selwyn District Council since January 2017, where responsibilities include organizing community recreation and well-being events and managing an aqua fitness program. Prior to this role, Emma was a Level 1 Paper Tutor at the University of Otago from February 2015 to October 2016 and also worked as an Independent Contractor for Selling Christmas Cookies at Cookie Time Limited in late 2015, where the role focused on managing sales within a designated territory. Emma holds a Bachelor of Physical Education with a focus on Exercise and Sports Science and Physical Activity and Health Education from the University of Otago, earned between 2013 and 2016, and completed NCEA levels 1-3 at St Andrews College in Christchurch, New Zealand from 2009 to 2011.
