Richard Chevalier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Richard started their career at SAGEM in 2002 as a Software Engineer, where they developed drivers for set-top boxes and implemented a Hardware Abstract Layer. Richard then became a Software Integration Engineer, responsible for specifying products and integrating legacy code with third-party codes.

In 2005, Richard joined Motorola Mobility as a Software Integration Engineer, where they focused on bringing up the first 2G single-core modem platform solution for cell phone products. Richard also served as a Technical Lead, responsible for IPC integration on new embedded platforms for mobile devices. Later on, they became a Software Integration Manager, leading a team of software engineers and driving architectural changes to improve stability.

In 2013, Richard moved to Intel Corporation as a System Integration Engineer, leading the technical aspects of the Android platform team. Richard then became a Software Engineering Manager, building and managing a team of skilled experts to develop wearable and IoT products in the Intel New Device Group division.

After their tenure at Intel, Richard joined Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi as a Software Engineering Manager in 2017, where they managed software engineering projects.

Their most recent role is as Vice President of Software Development at BrainChip Holdings Limited, starting in 2018.

Richard Chevalier earned a Master's degree in Computing, Signal processing, and Telecommunications from Télécom Paris. Prior to that, they completed University-level preparatory classes at Lycée Pierre de Fermat from 1996 to 1998.
