Samaahita Belavadi

Samaahita Belavadi is a Senior Autonomy Engineer at Brain Corp since July 2019, specializing in advanced SLAM and motion planning algorithms for over 30,000 robots operating in complex indoor environments. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Autonomy Engineer at DroneLab, UCSD, where work focused on SLAM technologies, and an internship at Intel Corporation, contributing to pre-silicon SoC level verification. Earlier internships include developing algorithms for drone mapping at the Embedded and Real Time System Lab and designing a scheduling algorithm for autonomous vehicles at the Microsoft Innovation Lab. Samaahita holds a Master of Science in Intelligent Systems, Robotics and Control from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from PES University.
