Soroosh Poorgholi has worked in the field of AI and Machine Learning for the past three years. In 2019, they completed a Master Thesis at Technische Universiteit Delft and also worked as a Back End Developer Intern at Innovattic. In 2020, they were a Principal AI Engineer at Bybr, where they managed a team of three to implement data in a graph database platform, designed data models for unstructured data, and managed a team to design a tool for synthetic data generation. Soroosh was also a Computer Vision Engineer at Bybr, where they implemented a text localization Neural Network, benchmarked a language-agnostic text recognition network, and designed and implemented an API and web platform for a complete text detection platform. In 2021, they were a Computer Vision Engineer at Envision, where they were the project lead for research and development of a real-time document guidance feature for blind and visually impaired using image segmentation, managed large-scale data collection and annotation pipelines, and customized the model architecture to increase the on-device inference speed by 1000%. Soroosh is currently a Machine Learning Engineer at BrainCreators.

Soroosh Poorgholi has an education history that includes a Master of Science in Embedded Software from Delft University of Technology, which they are currently enrolled in, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, which they completed in 2017.
